A VISITOR TO LOURDES.
I went on the 5th
of July to the 12 of July, and I had a the pleasure of having my photo taken with the
Archbishop which I am going to get framed. The staff were all very nice and helpful;
nothing was to much for them, they even took us for a nice picnic. We were 3 kilometres
from Spain up in the mountains and we also had a very nice party before we left. All the
staff were taking part even the priest. I met a lot of very nice staff and people which
was very nice to me. I also met a very nice doctor whose name is Jillian Potter and she is
a very nice lady in helping everyone. I also had the great pleasure of carrying a banner
of the angel. I got my photo taken with the banner and I am going to get it framed. I hope
and pray that all the staff are well and I hope that I can go back next year as it was so
good. Also I made a lot of very good friends which was wonderful. Don't get me wrong
I have some in the Thistle Foundation but not as many as I made there. Unfortunately I
forgot to take my address book so I can't write to the people.

| This was me in the parade which was a great honour as for me as I was a visitor to Lourdes. I was so happy to carry the angel in the procession even though it was very heavy but it was very good. |  |

This was the only day it was raining that was on the Saturday we all went to the mass in the morning and by 11am the sun was out. After mass this a very nice photo of the bishop and myself and one of the helpers from M&S. After the mass there was a group photo taken. |

This is one of the carers that took care of me. She came from the borders and I said to her they have a good Rugby team there, and she gave me a dance in my wheelchair as we had a party. |
